With family in the medical field, Dr. West’s decision to become a physician was easy.
"I’ve known I wanted to be a surgeon since I was a kid,” West said. “I’ve always thought surgery was intriguing, and I love helping people see better."
Dr. West specializes in small-incision cataract surgery and pediatric ophthalmology.
Dr. West received his BA from the University of South Dakota and his MD from the University of Oklahoma Medical School. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri.
Married with four children, West spends his spare time hunting, fishing, reading, golfing and is an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
