In 1968 Dr. Tschetter founded Ophthalmology Ltd. with a revolutionary approach to creating a practice: he knew gathering doctors with varied areas of expertise would allow patients to receive the best comprehensive care available.
Today, with a staff of highly qualified physicians, nurses and assistants, Ophthalmology Ltd. is synonymous with quality patient eye care.
Dr. Tschetter was urged into the medical field by his father, a physician, and quickly realized ophthalmology was his calling.
“It suits my personality,” he said. “I like to work with my hands, I like detail and whenever you have the opportunity to help people it’s a blessing. This was the perfect profession for me.”
Specializing in small incision cataract surgery and glaucoma management, Dr. Tschetter received his BA from Huron College and his MD from John Hopkins Medical School. He interned at John Hopkins Hospital and completed his ophthalmology residency in Detroit, Mich.
When not in the office, Dr. Tschetter enjoys spending time with his family, playing cards, working out and golfing.
